So, you maybe asking, why am I trying again? Kerouac, Jack would be the reason. A month and a half ago I picked up "On the Road: the original scroll" and it was amazing. It really helped me rediscover my favorite writer. So now I'm reading a journal of his time when he had the experiences that led to On the Road and it is really inspiring me to write. Or maybe it's daylight savings time or some such nonsense and I have the energy flowing through me. Who knows. All
I can say is that it is starting, and I don't know if it will continue, or if this will be the third false start of this poorly titled blog.
I have a livejournal but I've decided to start on blogger for a couple of reasons. Primarily, I need to start in anonymity. I'm a coward and am not yet ready to expose myself to such public pressure. It's not like I'm hiding here, anyone can read this nonsense (although I feel bad for them if they are compelled to) but I'm not going to advertise with all the wonderful methods of advertising we have this day and age, at least not yet. So I'm hiding is the reason to stay away from livejournal. Plus, you never know when it will go under. I hope and pray that google doesn't go under any time soon although I read a lot of recession stuff today so you never know. So when my livejournal friends find this I hope they aren't offended (ya bunch of whiners!) and I hope this will spurn me to write more (by more, of course, I mean, at all) in my livejournal.
So as this is an introduction you may wonder what I may speak about (who am I talking to? This could come in handy in a criminal trial, but would be a negative in a child custody case, not that that's going to be happening anytime soon). Well, I think I'm rather hard to pigeonhole. I like art and movies and good literature and baseball and basketball and pop culture. So I think we will get a lot of that in here. Something for everyone, nothing for someone. Something like that.
I think this is a good start for now. In re-reading, I hope it gets better, but that's the point isn't it?
